As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sanese and Stella Sanese; and his daughter Christine. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis DeYorgi; his son John (Joanna); his daughter-in-law Danielle; his grandchildren, Nina and Joey; his sister Stella Ann Howard; his niece Aimee Howard Washicosky; and his nephew Craig Howard.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Calendar Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services of Elmsford (72 E Main St, Elmsford, NY 10523). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (59 E Main St, Elmsford, NY 10523). A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
