He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Harriet English Crane and Frederick J. Crane; his sisters, Alice Marie Crane Nelson, Eileen Crane Woodhull and Karen Crane; and his cousins, Mary Beth English and Gabriel Hayes III.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Ellen Crane Colli (Peter); his nephew Brian Nelsen; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Maya, Kiley, Caelan and Leo; and his cousin Tom Cunningham.
Fred was a collector of antiques and donated his antique Christmas Tree Pin Collection to the Tarrytown Library.
