He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine and Joseph; his brother James Higgins; and his stepfather Lambert Broes. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Higgins Goudreau, Barbara Shay and Michael Broes; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Higgins, Ryan Shay, Meagan Forrest, James, Erin and Teresa Broes.
