“It is with a deep sense of loss and dis-heartened feeling that I express my sympathy to the family and friends of Veronica. What I recall of her life is how selfless and giving she was, always having an open door for those who needed her help. I personally benefitted from her kindness as she opened her home to me on one of my visits to New York and she would always be saying to me that whatever I want to eat, as long as it was there, I could have it. Her kindness had no boundaries.”
