It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean D. Altino of Elmont, New York, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortuna Ocsainvil and Leconte Altino; and his siblings, Lecome, Altemez and Saintemaine.
He is survived by: his spouse Armante Altino; his children, Marjorie Altino, Wanda Altino Rhodes (Kenneth), Arden Altino (Suzie), Edson Altino (Nakisha), Ervens Altino (Chante) and Jesse Altino; his grandchildren, Samantha Rogers, Charles Badger, Donte'Romain, Elijah Romain, Kayla Altino, Christian Altino, Aiden Altino, Khloe Altino, Billion Altino and Layla Altino; his great grandchildren, Kylie Rogers, Elle Rogers and Jordan Badger; and his brother Mark Carder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Linden Seventh-Day Adventist Church (228-20 137th Ave, Jamaica, NY 11413). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
