He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie M. DeGroff and Arthur J. DeGroff. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Richard DeGroff (Kalina Kutzy) and Laura Burnaugh (Benjamin); his grandson Felix; and his siblings, John DeGroff (Lynn), Curt DeGroff (Coleen), Forrest DeGroff and Janis Pilla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
