He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kinney and Marjorie Kinney (Sheehan); his son John David Kinney; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Naomi Roberts (Fordham) of Watkins Glen, NY; his siblings, Jean Keefe and Thomas; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Kinney.

He is survived by: his wife Hazelle R. Kinney; his son Adam Kinney (Kasey Kaspar Hildonen); his grandchildren, Louisa Kinney and Nathaniel Kinney; his sister Mary Cox (Bill) of Horseheads, NY; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Keefe (Rose) of Elmira, NY and Arthur Roberts (Nancy) of Rochester, NY; and his nephew Chris Ripley of Elmira, NY.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
