It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William I. Hill (Elmira, New York), who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Hill and Garnet Hill (Kaminsky); and his son Alva Jack Hill (Roxy Hill). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Pamela Hill Turner (David) of Horseheads, NY, Jan Hill of Elmira, NY, Thomas Hill (Patricia) of Elmira, NY, Gwendolyn Stansfield (Don Rosekrans) of Elmira, NY, Ryan Hill of Great Mills, MD and Joan Hill of Copake, NY; his grandchildren, Caroline Watach, Marshall Turner (Jessica), Corey Hill (Madison), Natalina King (Jesse), Caren Hill Danielle Hill (Kevin Clark), Eric Hill, Felicia Hyde (Jason), Corey Prettyman, Celeste Carrion (Mikey) and Aiyana Stansfield; his siblings, Barbara Hill Grebleski (Bernard) and Donald Hill (Ruth); and his nephew Craig Hill. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
