He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wayne N. Sowers and Audrey Sowers (Bartlett); his wife Alice Sowers (Bannon); his sons, James Michael Sowers (Ramona) of Durham, NC, Robert William Sowers (Darlene) of Pine City and Daniel Joseph Sowers (Linda) of Elmira; and his grandchildren, Christopher Sowers (Elena), Matthew Sowers (Christina), Leeann Sowers, Andrew Sowers (Mariah), Alison Bakun (Stefan) and Alexander Sowers.
