He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Doolittle and Virginia Doolittle (O'Daniels); his siblings, Debbie Rice (Doolittle) and Gary Doolittle; and his stepbrothers, David Buchanan and Jeffrey Buchanan.

He is survived by: his former wife Sarah Kim Doolittle; his children, Joshua Doolittle of Orlando, FL and Erica Edminster (Matt); his grandchild Kyra Edminster of Syracuse, NY; his sister Terry Vine (Thomas) of Horseheads, NY; his stepmother Mary Doolittle of Deltona, FL; his stepbrothers, Michael Buchanan of Odessa, NY, Christopher Buchanan of Montour Falls, NY and Nathan Buchanan of Deltona, FL; his former wife Debra Kittle (Doolittle) of Elmira Heights, NY; his grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, Sadie, Sophie, Benjamin and Lillian; and also, Michelle McClelland (Rodney) of Horseheads, NY, Kammie Schlesselman of Buffalo, NY and Carl Lewis Jr. of Elmira Heights, NY.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
