He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Bennett (Zaparzynski); his parents, Dorothy Peterson and Clifford T. Bennett; his brother Clifford Bennett; his stepfather Earl Peterson; his son-in-law John Fabbri; and his brother-in-law Dick Canha.
He is survived by: his children, Ted Bennett Jr. (Pam) of Clifton Park, NY, Carol Fabbri of North Syracuse, NY and Mary Clare Bender (Scott) of Saugerties, NY.; his grandchildren, Marisha, John, Amanda, Rachel, Joshua, Daniel, Michelle and Laura; his great grandchildren, Connor, Genevieve, Henry, Theo, Raedyn, Landyn, Alex, Emily, Alaina and William; and his sister Florence Zampko of Southhampton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
