She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shanks and Janet Shanks; her husband Richard Parsons; and her brothers, Rodney Shanks and Larry Shanks.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark D. Parsons of Elmira, NY and Richard Scott Parsons of Millerton, PA; her grandchildren, Travis, Jarrod, Sarah and Matthew Parsons; her brother George; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Shanks.
