She is survived by: her son Paul Jr.; her siblings, Mary Howard and Mahlon Cohen; her grandchildren, Terrence Jones (TJ), Sari Jones (Sara) and Syairra Jones (CC); her sister Nina Byford; and her daughters, Marpessa Toro (Marti), Jill Siler and Tammy Jones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, god-grandchildren and cousins.
