With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert B. Scouten of Elmira, New York, who passed away on February 25, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hank Scouten, Theodore Scouten, Julia La Barron, Bertha Anglehart, Cleaora Reese and Joy Phenes; and his parents, Grace Scouten and Watson Scouten.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Scouten; his children, Deena Scouten, Robena Helsing, WyEdna McCabe and Nathan Scouten; his sisters, Flossi Demherst, Theola Shuckwit and Naomie Lawrence; his grandchildren, Anna McCabe, Frederick, Liz McCabe, Shayna Helsing and Brandon Helsing; and also Douglas Helsing. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; and cousins.
