He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hicks and Charlotte Hicks (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Gail Haupt Leljedal Hicks of Elmira; his son Robert F. Hicks, Jr. of Texas; his grandson Brendan; his son Brian Hicks of Waverly; his grandchildren, Brianna, Brooklyn and Brian; his stepchildren, Martin Leljedal (Lisa), Scott Leljedal, Dave Akins (Kristy) and Julie Lewis (Rich); and his close friends, Bobby and Charlotte West. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step- great-grandchildren.
