He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Dean (McCann) and Robert C. Dean Sr.; and his sister Ellen Friedrich (Dean). He is survived by: his wife Adella R. Dean of Rochester, NY; his sons, Joshua E. Dean (Tiffany M. Paul) of Elmira, NY and Jeremy S. Dean (Samantha Chacoa) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandson Joshua D. Dean; his nieces and nephews, Melissa Friedrich, Mallory Benjamin (Martin), Sean Friedrich (Valerie) of Elmira, NY and Noah Freeman of Elmira, NY; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter, Spencer Trumball, Landon, Brayden Friedrich, Martin Benjamin III and Preslee Benjamin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
