He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Baumgartner and Martha Heywood Baumgartner; his wife Betty Jane Baumgartner; his granddaughter Jaimee; his great grandchildren, William and Marion; and his siblings, Harold and Twila Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Sprague of Wichita, KS, Robert W. Baumgartner II (JoyAnn) of Henrietta, NY, Carol Huftalen (Arthur) of Bradenton, FL, Karen Baumgartner of Henrietta, NY and John Baumgartner (Sandy) of Breesport, NY; his grandchildren, David II (Gabrielle), Heather, Carrie Mae (Joseph), Robert W. III, John Jr. (Nicole) and Katie (Michael); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Nicholas, Zachary, Annabelle, Kaiden, Zoey, Brielle and Hannah; and his siblings, Jack Baumgartner (June), Ida Beard (Philip), Virgie Matheny and Mildred Austin. He is also survived by extended family members including several nieces and nephews.
