He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Van Patten (Smith). He is survived by: his son Michael (Lisa); his grandchildren, Heather (Eric), Tara (Larry), Ryan (Kat), Megan (Terry) and Mary (Thomas); his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Phoebe, Delila, Peyton and Wyatt; and his siblings, Tiers and Sandy Randall (George).
