He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bailey and Claudia Hernandez Bailey; his wife Machell; his sister Claudia Olson; and his son Michael.

He is survived by: his brother Carlos Mejia (Marcia) of Atlanta, GA; and his mother-in-law Joan Mosher of Horseheads, NY. He is also survived by many brother and sister in-laws, and friends.

“If I remember correctly Paul, Anthony Morrow and I were the three students who attended Notre Dame without attending Catholic elementary school. Therefore we were outsiders from the start. If that isn't correct then I'll attribute it to old age. Either way I remember Paul as a decent guy, quiet and gentle. I'm sorry for your loss. Kermit Ackley”
