He is survived by: his wife Ann (McLaughlin); his children, Ann Simmons of El Paso, Molly Manchenton (Bill) of Lowell, Mass., Matt Jr. (Carla) of Plano, Texas, Julie Smykowski (David) of Elmhurst, Ill., Sheila Castellano (Frank) of Colorado Springs, Colo., Tim (Alicia) of El Paso, Kate Carlson of El Paso, Terrence (Adriana) of El Paso, Ellen Ordaz (Raul) of El Paso and Alice Hongthong (Aksorn) of Malverne, N. Y; his siblings, J. Peter Fennell and Kathleen "Sis" Fennell of Elmira; his parents-in-law, Maynard, Marilyn McLaughlin of Shoreham, Vt., Sheila Reeder of Quakerstown, N. J., Richard Bassney of Rochester, N. Y. and Elizabeth Dolan of Sayre; and his friends, Albert Beckman of Santa Teresa, N. M., David and Hannah D'Ottavio of El Paso. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
