It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Theresa Waite of Elmira, New York, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Waite; her son Robert Mark Waite; her grandson Steven Waite; her siblings, Albert Affeldt and Carmalita Affeldt; her son-in-law Patrick Brady; and her brother-in-law Fred Edmister.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Marie Brady of Elmira, NY, Thomas Albert Waite (Pamela) of Lowman, NY and Jeffrey Michael Waite (Terry) of Big Flats, NY; and her sister Jane Edmister of Elmira, NY. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Falck Cancer Center or to the SPCA in her memory.
