It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary A. Amey of Elmira, New York, born in Waverly, New York, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Amey and Pauline Woodcock Amey; her sister Susan Amey; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Simpson and Terry Woodcock.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Dawson (Ken), Jason Amey and William Vergason (Christina); her grandchildren, Aaron Dunbar, Neil Teribury, Thomas Forrest, Kady Dawson, Xavier Vergason, Donovan Vergason and Liam Vergason; her siblings, Doris Ketcham (Paul), Fred Amey (Mayeth), Shirley Simpson, Pauline Bailey, Alice Middaugh, Jim Woodcock (Mary), Jerry Woodcock (Ann), Dave Woodcock and Kathy Lantz (Elmer); her uncle Don Woodcock; her close friends, Miss Evelyn and Miss Ellie; and her pet Barkey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
