It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary A. Schmidt (Elmira, New York), who passed away on March 18, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Titus and Anna Kelly Titus; her siblings, John Titus (Ruth), James Titus (Jean), Kathleen Kane (Paul) and Jean Jung (Robert); and her great grandchild Sean E. Marshall.
She is survived by: her husband John R. Schmidt; and her children, Kathleen Hansen (Paul) of Elmira, Mary Lou Adams (Charlie) of Elmira, Martin of Elmira, Margaret Greatsinger (Edward) of Elmira, Daniel (Colleen) of Elmira, Joseph (Marcie), John (Eliza), Teresa Schmidt-Wiggs (David), Michael (Jennifer McCallum) of Endicott, David (Martine Barnaby) of Vestal and Steven (Diane Paulo). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
