Margaret J. Carney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret J. Carney of Elmira, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram Mills and Mary Mills (Hutcheson); her husband Ralph Carney; her son George Carney; and her brothers, Abram Mills, Jr. and Alford Mills.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Carney (Kathleen) of Pine City, Alyce Courtney (Kevin) of Elmira and Betty Carney of Pine Valley; and her granddaughters, Karen Avery (Philip) of Elmira, Casandra Carney of Big Flats and Colleen Mihalek (Joseph) of Rome, PA. She is also survived by 6 great-granddaughters; as well many nieces and nephews.
