He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Holmes and Mozelle Holmes (Hairston); his siblings, Nathaniel E. Holmes and Carleita Holmes Boone; and his son Najee Holmes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sharon Lee Hairston of Elmira, Linda Green (Sam), Veronica Brooks of Elmira, Bonita Holmes, Marcella Young of Elmira, Alonzo of Elmira, Cerdan Holmes of Elmira and Ricardo Holmes; and his children, Megan, Nikita, Elizabeth, Holly, Tarra, Marcia, Marc, Jr. and Marcal.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home (858 Lake St, Elmira, NY 14901). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
