The passing of Linda Ellen Wright of Elmira, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 11, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Marie Wright (Eaton) and Marcus Alton Wright; and her sister Janet Elieen Wright. She is survived by: her nephew Henry Cook III; her nieces, Heather Barrett and Helen Figueroa; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher Cook, Bryan Cook, Nicole Barrett, Donovan Barrett, Marissa Figueroa, John Figueroa and Zolanich Figueroa. She is also survived by her nephew and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home (1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY 14904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Presbyterian Church (921 College Ave, Elmira, NY 14901). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Indian Mound Cemetery (1885 E Cayuga St, Moravia, NY 13118).
In lieu of flowers, given Linda's wide variety of interests and the many charities she supported, the family has suggested picking a charity that means something to you and placing a donation in Linda's name.
