He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey A. Horwitz (Ellie Bogdonoff) of New York City and Gayle M. Horwitz (David Kolodny) of New York City; and his grandchildren, Emma, Aaron Horwitz, Jonathan and Michael Kolodny.
