Akins of Elmira, New York, born in Bath, New York, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Akins and Leona Akins (Woodhouse). He is survived by: his wife Mary Akins (Losito); his children, Timothy Akins, Alicia Akins Shoup, Katie Akins and Emily Akins; his granddaughter Madeline Shoup; his sisters, Jeanne Clift, Elaine Coon (Steve) and Cheryl Harkness; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Losito (Glenna), Patrick Losito (Patti), Paul Losito (Kathy), Phil Losito (Donna), Sam Losito (Rachel) and Nora VanRensselaer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends.
