He is survived by: his siblings, Kelvin Bruce DeHaas (Geraldine) of Horseheads, Mark DeHaas of Bath and Laurie DeHaas Allen (Christopher) of Savona; his son Sean Knight (Maryanne) of Statesville, NC; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Madison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
