He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Newman and Cornelia Newman (Campbell); and his sister Joan Newman Whitmore. He is survived by: his fiancée Carol Frederick of Elmira, NY; his children, Ryan Newman (Rosie) of Corning, NY and Sarah Newman (Zach) of Painted Post, NY; his siblings, Patricia Allen, Edward Newman (Cheryl), Elwood Newman (Ann), Kevin Newman (Sue), Jeff Newman and Ernie Newman (Delinda); his grandchildren, Oliver, Brooklynn, Bailey, Emma, Anastazia, Nyko, Kristina and Robert; his close friends, Anthony Desarno, Lori Allen, Terri Bohlayer, James Drake, Brianna and Brian; and his nephew Joshua Reed. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
