It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen L. Queen (Elmira, New York), born in Binghamton, New York, who passed away on October 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James V. Tallo and Esther Tallo (Burnside); her son David T. Queen; her brother James Tallo; and her brother-in-law Larry Jirkovsky.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sharon Tallo of Elmira, Joan DeWick of Ledyard, CT and Mary Ellen Jirkovsky of Gainesville, FL; her sister-in-law Marlene Tallo of Binghamton; her niece Diane Storti (Ted) of Conklin, NY; her nephews, James Tallo (Julie) of Endicott and Matthew Segur (Christa) of Scottsdale, AZ; her great-nieces, Rachel, Renee Storti of Johnson City, NY, Cara and Lily Segur of Scottsdale, AZ; her great-nephew Samuel Segur of Scottsdale, AZ; her niece Gianna Bates of Winsor, NY; her friends, Martha Locke of Seattle, WA., Karen and Dr. Renee Abderhalden-Friend; and also Sister Marie.
