He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Baker and Marguerite Baker (Lathrop); his wife Mary Elizabeth Wigsten (Bette); and his siblings, Dorothy Koenig, Orlo Baker and Helen Louise Chamberlain.
He is survived by: his family Joe; his children, Mary Baker of Houston, Texas, Joseph (Dianne Baker), David (Lisa Baker), Anne (Frank Miller), Mark (Lisa Baker) and John (Mary Baker); his sister-in-law Catherine Hughes; and his brother Paul A. Baker. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, a great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Keuka Comfort Care Home in Penn Yan, New York.
