It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Paul Beaty (Elmira, New York), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Beaty and Alma Beaty (Gruber); his brothers, Peter and Mark Beaty; and his brother-in-law Joseph McDermott.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McDermott Beaty; his children, Lisa and Michael Mustico of Elmira; his grandchildren, Xavier, Julia, Elizabeth, Ava, Jennifer and Dennis Coseo of Elmira; his great grandchildren, Emily, Lauren, Audrey, Joseph Beaty of Camarillo, CA and Michael Beaty of Ventura, CA; his siblings, Kathleen Young, Robert Beaty (Kathleen), Gregg Beaty, Joanne Flynn, Mary Ellen Barrett (Richard) and James Beaty (Laurie); his siblings-in-law, Dianne Beaty, Eileen Beaty, John McDermott, James McDermott, Patricia, William Dixon, Michelle, James McCullagh, Christopher McDermott, Anna, Joseph Vitak, Esther, William Malazita, Jeanne, Raymond Clark, Francis and Elizabeth McDermott; and also Abigail. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
