He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Parsons and Rosamond Parsons (Belknap); and his son Joseph D. Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Parsons (Clinton) of Elmira; his children, Miles Parsons (Sheri) of Elmira and Kim Carlin (Craig) of Erin; and his grandchildren, Matthew Parsons (Meghan), Timothy Parsons, Cameron Wisniewski (Nikki), Tyler Wisniewski (Jess) and Alivia Vandaalen. He is also survived by 7 Great grandchildren.
