He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcursio "Gus" Gennosa and Velma Gennosa; his sister Annette Hill; his nephews, Richard and Josh Hurlbutt; and his aunt Edna Newkirk.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hurlbutt of Elmira; his daughters, Elizabeth Smith (Ken), Christine Klee (Patrick), Amy Collins (Shane) and Anita Gennosa; his stepgrandchild Kalton Smith (Kassie); his sister Joan Boyce; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Hill, Rod Hurlbutt, Greg Hurlbutt (Blanche), William Hurlbutt and Stacey Hurlbutt.
