He is survived by: his wife Ruth Barnes (Carl); his children, Alonzo Barnes (Barbara) of Elmira, Millicent Ruger (Dave Hirtler) of Horseheads, Jessie Bell of Trumansburg, Dollie Freeman (Harold) of Henrico, VA and Joni Butler; his grandchildren, Candace Cunningham (David), Ricky Ruger (Janet), Ferris Burnett, TJ Bell, Danielle Bell, Irene Marion (Kenny), Cassondra Freeman, Micah Freeman (Ashley), Cameron Barnes, Mathias Freeman, Aliyah Butler, Marissa Butler, Frederick Butler III, Manoah Freeman, Jonny Butler and Sarah Butler; his great grandchildren, Maddie Bell, Troy Cunningham and Theo; and his brother Clark Barnes (Betty).
