It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn M. Fretz of Elmira, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lentz and Eleanor Lentz (Comfort); her husband Richard A. Fretz; and her siblings, Sylvia Hansen, Fran Henderson and Gifford DeWater (Michael A. Eckert).
She is survived by: her son Thomas Fretz; her siblings, Marvin DeWater and Rose Breese; and her close friends, Carol, Vicki, Helen, Danielle and Sue. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
