With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan B. Haskell of Elmira, New York, born in Penn Yan, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Buckley and Mary Nilan Buckley; her daughter Mary Ellen Haskell; her siblings, Winifred (Darwin Arnold), Jane (Jack Chapman), Robert (Ellen Buckley), Joseph (Joyce Buckley), Paul (Jean Buckley) and Gerald Buckley; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred, Doug Haskins, Marjorie, Pete Johnson, Helen, Thomas Keeton, Ralph "Brud" and Dorothy Haskell.

She is survived by: her husband Bruce J. Haskell; her son Thomas; her daughter-in-law Linda Haskell of Elmira; her grandchildren, Hannah and Jack Haskell; her daughter Laurie Pica; her son-in-law James Blackman of Elmira; and her sister-in-law Shirley Buckley of Connecticut. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
