With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Marie Anvoots Doane of Elmira, New York, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 29, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Landis and Thelma Landis; her husband Lynn Doane; her son Sidney Anvoots; her sister Myrtie; and her brother-in-law Bob VanDeusen.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Anvoots (Angie) of Greencastle and Mark Anvoots (Deanna) of Erin; her foster daughter Malinda Marie Jackson; her grandchildren, Joseph Anvoots II, Michael Anvoots, Jordan Marie Anvoots, Sidney Anvoots and Kendall Anvoots; and her brother Ted Findenbinder (Rose). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Janice to the Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA or Heartland Hospice.
