He was predeceased by: his son Charles Daniel Potter; and his parents, Carl Potter and Bessie Howard Potter. He is survived by: his wife Anna Coolbaugh Potter; his children, Darlene Gunderson (David) of Elmira, NY, James M. Potter of Tioga, PA, Cheryl L. Bentley (Dean) of Tioga, PA and Marybess Hazlett (Steve) of Tioga, PA; his grandchildren, Bill Butterfield (Liz), Anna Potier (Yohann), Tanya Gunderson (Will Miraglia), Tyler Gunderson (Meghan), Travis Potter (Lisa), Trevor Potter, Terri Richer (Scott), Jeremy Gunderson and Tiffany Hazlett; his brother-in-law Ted Coolbaugh (Carol); and his siblings, Joe Potter (Margaret) and Betty Bement. He is also survived by his 9 great-grandchildren.
