He was predeceased by: his parents, I. W. Boykin and Claudia Mae Boykin; his wife Anna Boykin; and his siblings, Elsie Palmer, J. W. Boykin (Dub), Curtis Leo Boykin and Roger Boykin.
He is survived by: his daughter Annette C. Boykin; his grandson Austin Blake Hedrick; his siblings, Donnie Boykin (Bo) of Brownsville, Yvonne Willis (Dalton) of Kingsville, TX, Iva Jo Gray (Sterling) of Harlingen and Franklin Dennis Boykin (Patsy) of Combes; and his sister-in-law Sandra Cook of Elmira, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
