He is survived by: his former wife Geneva Darby; his wife Patricia Darby (Tuttle); his brothers, Harold Darby Jr. and John Darby; his children, Judith Darby, Jean Willard (Andrew), Jo Truax (Bob) and Ed Sellers (Joan); his stepchildren, Linda Keehan, Deb Correll (Bob), Sandy Swan, Gloria Decker (Elmer), Jimmy Vanderpool (Lairen) and Billy Vanderpool (Sarah); his siblings, James Darby and Wilma Morgan; his nephews, Kyle Truax and Tony Truax (Jen); his grandchildren, Nicole Cook (Alex) and Ryan Willard (Laura); his great grandchildren, Isla Cook and Benedict Willard; and his close friend Barbara Dove.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home (858 Lake St, Elmira, NY 14901). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
