He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Jay, Sr. and Frances Jay; and his wife Margaret Jay (Peggy). He is survived by: his children, Deborah Jay, Linda Jay of Elmira, NY and Stephen; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Jay of Adamstown, MD; his grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Megan Jay; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Mosteller (Richard), Joann Bement (Ronald), Rosemarie Holleran, Thomas Holleran (Janet), Eugene Holleran (Sandy), Paul Holleran (Linda) and Willie Holleran (Denise). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
