She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Freer and Rena Freer; her husband Donald R. Roote; her brothers, James Freer, Charles (Laverne Freer) and Gordon (Elizabeth Freer); her daughter Linda L. Stillman (Richard Stillman); her grandchildren, Nancy Stillman and Boyd J. Carlyle; and her brother-in-law Donald Burrows.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Roote (Wayne Brubaker), Cathleen Carlyle (Joseph) and Cecil Roote (Donna); and her siblings, Leroy Freer (Sandra) and Alice Burrows (Freer). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
