He was predeceased by: his son Scott Randall Dickerson; and his brother Roland Dickerson. He is survived by: his wife Amber Dickerson (Dewey) of Elmira; his stepchildren, Monica Forte (Paul) of Elmira Heights, Charles Anthony DePalma II (Yvonne) and Mary Ellen Westervelt (Tim) of Addison, NY; his sisters, Jackie Mosher (Wayne) of Carthage, NY and Susan Barr (Stuart); his brother-in-law Todd Dewey (Dawn); and his grandson Steven Randall Dickerson. He is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
