She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Newton and Charles Bailey; her husband Edgar Owens; her brother James Bailey; her children, Shirley Bailey, John and Sidney Anderson (Candace); and her stepson Willie Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Alfreda Collier of Brooklyn, NY and Charles Collier (Betty) of Elmira, NY; and her stepchildren, Christina of Lester, Edgar Jr. "Louie", Francine, Elise and Franker. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
