He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Cooper and Thelma Cooper; his wife Lois; his brother John; and his granddaughter Jaimie Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Schrock (Hal) and James Cooper (Mary Ann); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Jezorski (Ken Hoffmann), Jennifer Lawton (Nate), Lauren Schrock (Jacob Gray) and Kristen Cooper (Jonathan Howland); his great grandchildren, Logan, Micah Bryan, Maple Hoffmann, Calvin, Posy and Penelope Lawton; and his sister-in-law Betty Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
