It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude C. Burt of Elmira, New York, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Bogaczyk and Mary Bogaczyk (Tafelski); her husband William Burt Jr.; her daughter Sandra Baker; and her siblings, Theresa Steves, Cecelia Swinsick, Margaret Sincox, Regina Dake, Helen Zuke, Marion Mandell, Dorothy Goodwin, William, Joseph, Vincent and Clement Bogaczyk.
She is survived by: her daughter Janine Taylor; her grandchildren, Courtney Taylor and James Baker Jr. (Liz); her great grandchild William Taylor; and her brother Edmund Bogaczyk (Erna). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish.
