Garrett Spier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garrett Spier (Elmira, New York), who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garrett Spier to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Spier and Judith Lott Spier; his children, Sophia, Natalie and Rocco Spier; the mother of his children Kimberly "Kimmy" Colavita; his brother Geoffrey Spier (Charisse); and his nieces and nephews, Codey, Davin, Mallory and Brayden. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family.
He was the 4th generation to be employed by Corning Inc, and worked for Corning Pharmaceutical Technologies in Big Flats, where he supported the measurement systems for production of vials for the COVID vaccine.
For his final act of caring, Garrett gave the gift of life through organ donation, allowing him to live on not just in the hearts and minds of his loved ones, but live on through recipients and research. Those wishing to remember Garrett please consider your donation.
