It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail M. Fritz of Elmira, New York, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burr Grim and Margaret Vonderlin; and her stepfather Raymond Freedman. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Strobridge (Gordon) of Elmira, NY, Mark Lewis (Robin) of Elmira, NY and Raymond Lewis (Lou Ann) of Tallahassee; her brother John Grim (Carol) of Syracuse, NY.; her grandchildren, Jenifer Beatty (Chad), BJ Lewis, Cory Lewis (Sue), Amanda Lewis, Samantha Domineski (Eric) and David Lewis; her great grandchildren, Elijah Lewis, Lily Lewis and Benjamin Lewis; her nieces, Karen Grim and Katie Lovato (Darryl); her nephew Paul Grim (Michelle); and her close friends, Peggy Monitello, Art Drake, Beverly Gorman and Gail Kennedy.
During the past 9 months in dealing with the COVID crisis they became her extended family when her own could not visit.
